Add New Applications

  1. Click CREATE NEW on the upper, left or at the bottom, right of the Apps page. Following is an example of this button:

  1. Enter the information requested in the Create New App dialog box as follows:
  1. For Application Name, type the name of the application.
  2. For Application Prefix, type a prefix for the application, which is applied to the Application ID and Application Secret.
  3. For Models, type the model number of the Ayla module in Models.
    • Click the Plus icon to add a model.
    • Click the Trash Can icon to delete a model.
  1. Skip the Cloud to cloud checkbox; it is not used at this time.
  2. Select the checkbox for Use sandbox for apns (which stands for Apple Push Notification Service) to connect to Apple’s sandbox environment. Unselect this checkbox when you do not wish to use Apple’s production service.

NOTE

When you change this checkbox, allow one minute for the result to take effect.
  1. Skip the Super Application checkbox; it is not used at this time.
  1. Click CREATE to add the new application to the list on the Apps page, or click CANCEL to close the Create New App dialog box without saving any of the new information entered.
